How this site is financed.

    Free to use

There are no subscriptions and no paid placement. Companies can't pay to appear, or to change where a route appears.

How the site is paid for today

Capital Find Money is currently funded by its founder, Frank Marco. It doesn't sell data. It has no adverts.

Paid links, now and in future

Guides and routes are written first. Only afterwards may we look for a paid link to something we already recommend. If a link can earn us money, it gets an asterisk (*) and an explanation at the foot of the page, and where practical an unpaid link to the same thing sits next to it. A paid link never changes a ranking, and official routes always come first. A paid link never appears inside an official route card.

There are currently no paid links on the site.

    PensionHunter

PensionHunter is a separate paid service for complex cross-border pension cases, and Frank Marco has an interest in it. It appears in three places: one labelled homepage widget, the block for complex cases at the end of the finder results, and the "Ours" box in the library. It is labelled every time and never ranked.

    What we never take

We never take money from financial advisers or tracing firms, payment for rankings, or money for selling personal data.

    Data

We use only cookieless, aggregate counters. See the privacy note. We don't sell or share personal data.

We always point people to the free government tracing route first, and we take nothing from financial advisers.
