Open data
The map, open to people and agents.
We are building the agents that find lost money. They need a reliable map of where it sits, so we publish ours: free official routes by country, each with its source link and the date we read it.
The files
- routes.json: one row per official route (state pension, workplace pension, dormant bank accounts, insurance, shares, registers), with the page that states it.
- countries.json: everything we hold per country, including sourced facts, dated obligations and questions with answers.
How to use it
Free to reuse with a link to capital-fm.com/open-data. Cite the countryPage of the country you use. An item is included only when an official page states it, so a missing item means not verified, not that no route exists. Always send people to the free official route first.

The money-map interview uses this same data to build a personal checklist in your browser. It stores nothing.
We always point people to the free government tracing route first, and we take nothing from financial advisers.
