Editorial standards.

People use this site to find money that is theirs. That only works if what we publish is right. These are the rules we work to.

Official routes first. In every section and every guide, the free official or industry route is listed before anything else. If a free route does the job, we say so and stop.

Primary sources only. Every route we list is checked against the organisation's own website. Each guide names its sources at the top. We do not publish figures unless we can link to the source that published them.

Last-checked dates. Every listing and every guide shows the date it was last checked. We recheck listings regularly and update the date when we do.

No paid placements. No one can pay to be listed, to be listed higher, or to be described more kindly. We do not use affiliate links.

Disclosure. Capital Find Money is published by Battersea Park Capital, which also operates PensionHunter. We feature PensionHunter as the cross-border pension option and say so wherever it appears. We always point people to the free government tracing route first, and we take nothing from financial advisers.

Not advice. We explain where to look and what to bring. We do not give financial, tax or legal advice, and we never ask for a share of anything you find.

Corrections. If something here is wrong or out of date, email signal@capital-fm.com. We correct errors promptly and note the change on the page.
