What we do and don't do
We find. We point. That's it.
What we do
- We map where lost and forgotten money sits: old pensions, bank accounts, life policies, shares, savings bonds and tax refunds.
- We link you to the official, free route to find it, run by governments, regulators and the institutions themselves.
- We keep that map checked, dated and open, so people and AI agents can rely on it.
What we don't do
- We don't give financial, pension, tax or legal advice. We don't tell you whether to transfer, cash out or combine anything.
- We never hold, move or handle your money.
- We don't act for you with banks, insurers or pension providers.
- We don't sell your data.
- We are not regulated by any financial regulator, and we don't say we are.
When you need more than a map
If a case is complicated, for example pensions spread across several countries, PensionHunter (founder's interest) helps you work out where your pensions are likely to be. You contact the pension provider yourself, and PensionHunter does not act on your behalf or give advice.
Disclosure: PensionHunter is run by a separate company, and Capital Find Money's founder, Frank Marco, has an interest in it.
For free, impartial guidance in the UK, MoneyHelper (https://www.moneyhelper.org.uk) is government-backed. For advice on your own situation, speak to a regulated financial adviser in your country.
We always point people to the free government tracing route first, and we take nothing from financial advisers.
